Since joining Finch McCranie, LLP in 1985, Mr. Richard W. Hendrix has built an extensive legal litigation practice that focuses on serious personal injury cases, wrongful death cases, and federal criminal cases. Previous to joining our law firm, Mr. Hendrix served as a state and federal prosecutor. He also has experience as a mediator in ADRs (alternative dispute resolutions).

Background:

Mr. Hendrix was born on August 22, 1952 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was admitted to the bar in Georgia in 1977 and the bar in South Carolina in 1978. He is licensed to practice law in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Mr. Hendrix earned his JD in 1977 from Emory University and his BA in 1974 from Davidson College, where he graduated with cum laude honors.
